Evan Weeden, Certified Fitness Trainer and Sports Performance Coach

I am Evan Weeden from Goshen, IN. Currently I am working out of Indianapolis and Goshen, Indiana. I am certified by the International Sports Sciences Association as a Certified Fitness Trainer and a Specialist in Fitness Nutrition. I didn't stop there. Once I began learning about weightlifting and strength and conditioning, I became certified by USA Weightlifting in Sports Performance Coaching. The education is never ending for me. I am always reading and preparing for another qualification exam. While working on a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, I am also preparing for the NASM CPT, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association CSCS exams.

Since becoming a personal trainer in 2012, I have had very unique opportunities to help others through fitness. I had the very fortunate pleasure of working under former Notre Dame quarterback Evan Sharpley, who I learned a great deal from. I have helped women in Weight Watchers programs incorporate an exercise program to reach their goals. I had the exciting opportunity to be an consultant to the Fairfield Community School district in Goshen, IN in reforming their elementary physical education program for Presidential Fitness Testing. I was the offseason strength and conditioning coach for Northridge High School Women's tennis team in 2013. I developed a golf specific performance program at Eastlake Athletic Club, designed to improve the golf game for any age. I was also very involved in growing the Youth Personal Training program at Eastlake.

Recently, I have just finished my internship as a Strength Coach with Indiana University Athletics. I worked with Division One, Big Ten athletes teaching them proper lifting techniques and safety procedures, as well developing strength, power, and stability.
